El Cajas National Park. This national park about 40 minutes outside of Cuenca and sits about 4000 meters above sea level. It is nicknamed the Scottish Highlands of Ecuador and after a hike around one of the hundreds of lakes I completely agree. Tonight we are jumping on an overnight bus to Peru, hazaaaa.
