I spent the morning exploring the rest of Pisa before getting the train to the nearby city of Lucca which was recommended by Katie who I met in Naples. Lucca is one of the only medieval cities in the world that has kept its city walls intact which surround the entire city. You are able to walk or cycle along the entire wall and circumnavigate the city which is pretty cool and I did just that this afternoon. Afterwards I climbed one of the many towers scattered throughout the city and got a great view of the walled city.
