So, after a night on the Shisha David and I got a late start to the day. We had heard about some “Ancient Bosnian Pyramids” an hour out of Sarajevo in a town called Vosoko and decided to check them out and decide what they were for ourselves.
Some self proclaimed Archaeologist dude from the USA come over here and declared a few pyramid shaped hills as the oldest and biggest Pyramids in the world. No other Archaeologist’s have ever confirmed his “findings” and there is debate about weather these “Pyramids” are actually pyramids or just some pointy hills.
Well when we arrived at the base of the “Pyramid” we were instantly Sceptical. We went to find a nearby tunnel that we had heard about only to find an abandoned block of factories. So we caught a taxi to the top (and got ripped off) and climbed the steep track to the top to join 20 other pyramid hunters.
Nope, not convinced. Neither of us were. Its definitely just a hill.
There was however a great Ottoman cemetery near the bus station that we both thought was more interesting than the Bosnian “Pyramid”. Tonight we are both jumping the overnight bus to Belgrade, Serbia! Time to knock myself out with some sleeping pills.
