Our taxi to Sancti Spiritus unexpectedly pulled through and the driver greeted us as we checked out this morning. About 30 minutes into our trip however the car spluttered to a halt. The driver spent the next 30 minutes pulling the engine apart and tinkering and we were back on the road… for about another 10 minutes. Another 15 minutes under the hood and we were on our way without any more automotive hiccups.
We found a nice Casa Particular really easily, took a walk around the nice colonial era city, had a beer by Cubas oldest brige and checked out the Colonial Art Museum which is pretty much a huge house still furnished from items of the time which was pretty interesting.
