Yep, definitely sick, woke up with a really sore throat and a cold or something 🙁 I had booked in to do a hiking trail today so had to cancel it to chill out at the Casa Particular and try get better before we head to Cienfuegos tomorrow. I have been gargling and drinking rum to kill the infection because it is near impossible to buy medication in Cuba.
We took a walk to reserve a seat on the bus in the afternoon and then somehow ended up on a tour out to the famous slave tower about 15 km outside of Trinidad which was ok, but neither of us had the strength to climb it. I also tried sugar cane for the first time and we watched these goats ransack a small fruit stall which was pretty hilarious. Taking photos of Police is actually illigal here, but luckilly this officer didnt seem to mind.
