Day-215

While I was up half the night feeling the effects of heat stroke and hugging a toilet I firefly came into our room! It was pretty cool. I was so delirious from the heat stroke that I thought I was dreaming it at first. In the afternoon we caught our last freezing cold Viazul bus of our trip to Havana, our final destination in Cuba.

These are just a tiny fraction of some of the awesome Yank Tanks and crazy cars I have seen here in Cuba so far. Before jumping on the bus we spotted a Yank Tank filled with Cakes (top right), and here in cuba they have a fetish for cakes it seems. every day you will count no less than 5 cubans walking down the street or along the highway carrying a big, bright, thick frosted cake.

In Havana there was some Cuban confusion with our Casa Particular booking so we were taken to another one which turned out to be a one room apartment with a kitchen, balcony, terrace, living room on the top floor of an apartment building all to ourselves. Its now Christmas Eve and usually I would be getting drunk at the local pub back in my hometown, but I am still feeling a bit ill from the heatstroke, so we are going to watch the only christmas movie on my hard drive, Bad Santa.
