Today my legs were feeling a little fragile after all the walking, running and climbing over the past 3 days, so I decided to punish myself further by visiting most of the remaining ruins close to Cusco on foot. All the ruins I visited today were located behind the huge ruin complex of Saksaywaman which we visited on Day 271 and are included in the Tourist ticket.
The ruins I visited were Tambomachay, Puca Pucara, Rocas Lancacuyo and Quenqo. None of them were particularly amazing but it was a nice 10km walk between the ruins plus Rocas Lancacuyo had some pretty cool volcanic rock tunnels to explore.
