Today I met up with my friend Tori who grew up in a small village about an hour out of Edinburgh and enlisted her as my personal tour guide, drinking buddy and haggis eater. We crashed a free tour organised by the hostel for 2 hours before breaking off and continuing our own tour. Tori’s tour included buying knives, and organising sim cards. But also included awesome graveyards, castles, cathedrals, beer, cider, chocolate, haggis, history, stories, good times and spitting on hearts carved into the pavement.
