This photo was taken at the magic fountain at exactly 12:05 so it is technically the next day 🙂 Today was another day of trainin’ round the country. I am leaving Barcelona to go and stay in a surf camp on the northern coast of spain in Basque Country. While I’m training’ let me tell you the following fun facts bout Barcelona:
1. A square in the city was dedicated and re-built into a George orwell monument square. Ironically it was the first place in Barcelona to have CCTV cameras installed because of the drunks and drug dealers who tended to gather there.
2. Barcelona has some pretty funny and un-intimidating gargoyles.
3. It has 2 legends about dragons and the heroes who slayed them. So the city is covered in dragon sculptures.
4. There are only 6 public toilets in all of Barcelona city, which is why sometimes the city stinks like piss.
5. The beer that people try to sell you on the street has probably spent time in the sewer.
