I met up with Monica today for more Beer, Food and exploration. She took the same night bus from Zadar to Dubrovnik as me but just one day later. My theory on taking the night bus was that if I took it on a Saturday night there wouldn’t be as many people on it which would make for a much more comfortable sleep/ride and I was right. My bus only had about 10 people on it, whereas Monica’s bus was completely full, so she didn’t have the luxury of spreading out on the back seat like I did (until some cheeky korean guy came and tried to move in on my turf).
Anyways we had breakfast, then I went for a swim around the wall while Monica checked into her Hostel. Then we met up for beer, lunch and more beer before I jumped on my bus to Mostar in Bosnia. Oh also I found a snake in my hostel when I went to pick up my bags, so helped the owner get it out, that was fun.
My bus to Mostar took double the amount of time it was supposed to so I got in pretty late. Even so I took a quick walk around the old town and shot this. This is the view on top of the bridge in Mostar.
