Yesterday’s photo was the outside of the Hungarian Parliament house, todays photo is from the inside of the Parliament house. I did a tour early this morning as planned. The tour was ok, but unless you are an EU citizen I really wouldn’t bother as the price is double for non-Eu citizens.
Afterwards I checked back into David Hasslehostel and the usual Budapest shenanigans ensued. A group of us went for a huge Hungarian buffet feast which turned into a visit to an Oxygen bar which turned into a trip back to Szimpla ruin bar for some shisha and beers where a freaking spectacular folk band were playing. On the way back to the hostel we ran into another group heading to a karaoke bar where Matty won the Elvis sing off and we celebrated by singing Bohemian Rhapsody at ear piercing levels.
A combination of wifi problems, unexpected sing off’s and a slow hungover morning is the result of this post being pretty late. This city wont let me escape, I was supposed to leave today but booked in one more last night here (again).
