Day-185

Last night I went out with my couch surfing host to a house party so I got a late start to my last day here in Europe. I hunted down the jewelled skeleton of the patron saint of spinsters and then the rest of the day in probably the best museum I have been to so far in Europe, the Deutsches Museum. Everything in the museum is interactive and it is absolutely massive. There is no way to see this massive museum in one day, so I will probably be going back when I return to Munich next year.

So tomorrow I fly to Cuba. While in Cuba my posts may be delayed by a few days, as the internet situation in Cuba is interesting to say the least, but you will hear all about that while I am there I’m sure. So please forgive me and expect some upload/posting delays over the next 5 weeks or so.

I also only just realised I am now more than halfway through this project, and jetting off to Cuba and South america will be a real change in gears. For starters, I will be picking up a travel buddy for the next few months, so will no longer be traveling solo. I am also really trying to learn some spanish along the way which to help us get through south america which should be interesting and challenging.

I have been going through and cleaning out some of the (25,000) photos from the past 185 days I have spent in Europe. It has been an unforgettable experience meeting so many awesome people, making some great new friends and seeing some spectacular places along the way so far. I have had such a huge smile on my face while going back through the photos.
