Yesterday we had to change hostels because the other one was fully booked. Our new hostel has an amazing rooftop terrace/bar with this awesome view over this Unesco World Heritage city! I sat here last night and watched some fireworks go off behind the statue on El Panecillo Hill (on the left).
Thanks to a tip on Couchsurfing I managed to find myself another Bota Bag today at a big artists market in new town (gringolandia). Although the Bota Bags they are selling are cheap, touristy, low quality junk it will do me until I can find myself another good quality one somewhere.
viv had to go back for a checkup today so I used the time to do all those fun things, like wash my hair, wash my shoes and figuring out where the hell we are going tomorrow. I’m thinking Banos.
