Day-312

The first thing anyone will notice when visiting Valparaíso is the street art. Its EVERYWHERE and it complements the cityscape perfectly as it is traditional in Valpo to paint your house bright colours, without city planning the cityscape is haphazard at best plus the locals love it. These are just a fraction of the pieces we have come across over the past few days while wandering the alleys, streets, hills, staircases and elevators.

One artist in Valparaíso (and the rest of Chile) really stands out who I would recommend looking up. He is a Chilean born artist who goes by the name “Inti”. His pieces are really unique, sharp and easily recognisable all over the world. There are two of his pieces in this collage but he has several more huge pieces around Valparaíso and Santiago, some of which span the sides of 5+ storey buildings.
