Day-331

Today I was supposed to head into the countryside with two of Braes housemates to spend the night in Mont Tremblant but because of the long weekend the hire car prices skyrocketed, so we decided to just do a day trip tomorrow instead, which left today wide open. So Maria and I dusted off two bikes, got the tires pumped and went for a big bike ride while the sun was shining.

We did a huge loop starting at Braes place near the mile end, riding down to the old port, across the bridge to Parc Jean-Drapeau, then getting lost on the Gran Prix track before being told to turn around, then across to the other island where the Biosphere is where we stopped to have a gander at this old tower which we know nothing about, before taking the huge bridge back across and through Parc La Fontaine.

It was a nice sunny day which had us basking like cold blooded reptiles at every stop, but the ride made me feel a bit better about gorging on so much disgustingly delicious Poutine over the last couple of weeks. Also having sushi for dinner made me feel like I may have boosted my health meter momentarily. Then I finished the night learning how to play the board game, settlers of catan.
