Today we drove a 5 hour scenic drive through the Scottish Highlands to the Isle of Skye. I was going to present you with a spectacular panorama of the Scottish Highlands but after deciding they are all too spectacular to choose just one I decided to present Gruff, Dylan and Oli (Oliver) who I met through Couchsurfing.org. We all wanted to experience the highlands without the cheesy tour so we all chipped in, hired a car and pitched out tents in the highlands for 2 nights to explore the Isle of Skye and drink Whiskey on mountain tops.
This is our whiskey fuelled attempt to get a good view at the Highlands by crossing a deforested marshland just after crossing Loch Lochy, the Lochiest Loch in all of Lochland! I wish I could tell you that this was the first time we tried to cross a bog… .but it wasn’t.
