Its all about the bikes in Holland. Went for a ride around the countryside in northern Holland today. From Spanbroek, through Opmeer and went to a Traditional Holland farm house/museum out of Hoogwoud with two other couchsurfers (also from Australia) who happen to be Couchsurfing here too. Learnt some interesting facts about early life on a Dutch farm, like how they used to sleep in cupboards and make old timey waffles. Riding out here and in the towns was easy, but still a little intimidated about riding in Amsterdam or another big city.
