I did a self guided tour of the Brasserie Cantillon brewery today. One of the beers they produce is a famous belgium beer called Gueuze. It is the most sour beer I have ever tasted, actually it tastes a little like vomit, but good vomit. And there is snother beer that is a cross between a wine and a beer, they call it the missing link between beer and wine.
The beer has to be brewed a certain way and because of this they only brew for 6 months of the year due to room temperatures. The tour was only 6 Euro and includes tastings at the end so definitely worth it. This snap was taken towards the end of the tour. below this room is where the use a steamer to clean the barrels, so this room had an eerie mist hanging around the rafters. Mmmmm beer mist.
