So long Super Bock Super Rock! I am now back in Lisbon, it feels good to not be covered in Dust and dirt from dread to toe. If you were looking for Fraser and I during Super Bock Super Rock it was easy to find us.
We were the guys covered in Dust, Dirt and sand, living out of low quality tents on the dusty hill right by the toilets. I was in a tent which cost $30 for the mat sleeping bag and tent (essentially a disposable tent for festivals). Fraser opted for a non-disposable but that still didn’t keep out the dust. I had to create a makeshift roof/fly as my tent using a running of the bulls bandanna. This did not keep out the dust.
If you couldn’t find us at our tents during the day thats because we spent most of the day down at the beach getting a good dose of sunburn and swimming in ice cold portuguese sea water and drinking beer.
After the bands were finished each night you could easily find us just by following the dude with the Cigars. He came and woke us each night/morning to smoke with him.
So now Im back in Lisbon trying to plan my next move… I’m thinking Porto as I keep hearing so much about it. Its where our Cigar smoking friend lives too.
