I explored the rest of Holguin city today so that tomorrow I can try hitch a ride to the beach about 60km away. I have heard it is one of Cuba’s best beaches from several different people.
In the evening I decided to find some dinner at a restaurant instead of eating at my casa particular again. I bumped into a guy I met the day before and he showed me a nice and really cheap restaurant, so we both had a huge meal of chicken, rice, salad, chips and beer for a little more than $2 each. Then we sat in the park drinking rum while I watched him hound every seniorita that strolled past like all cubans tend to do. They really don’t give up until they have snagged themselves a chicka for the night haha.
